Wildherbarista
Wildherbarista is still ongoing, and is my most explicitly ceremonial and animistic work and became a central foundation for artistic work nowadays. Through site-specific rituals and guided walks, nature functioned as dramaturg, director and light designer. The work emphasized cyclical time, repetition and emergence and clarified animism as a relational practice that distributes agency beyond the human. How can animist and relational practices from Nordic pre-modern knowledge traditions transform the actor's relationship to self, place, history and the more-than-human world?
What kind of actor does the Anthropocene require?
Can the actor be re-trained from an individual expressive subject into a relational instrument in service of collective and planetary imagination?
