About the event

“It is a remembrance, a living myth. A weaving of song, dance, ritual and community where we step into the story of light itself.

Midsummer at Ängsbacka rises from ancient ground. This celebration draws on the old pagan traditions of Sweden, where offerings were made to the land, the elements, and the creatures of the forest to honour the turning of the year. Together with the incredible musicians, storytellers, and space holders we gather to awaken these rituals, to carry them forward, and to breathe life into the fertile soil under the bright sun.”

Rebecca Tiger is a part of the festival — she will be leading and holding some of the celebrations during the event. Her role is to create meaningful, ceremonial space within the festival program, bringing her presence and gifts to the collective experience.
